Help a stroke sufferer gain enjoyment from gardening

Befriending / Visiting volunteer needed for ENRYCH Berkshire

Our volunteers support and enable people with a physical disability to take up, or return to, a hobby, interest, sporting activity or learning opportunity which they cannot do without some help or support. This support is mainly about giving confidence, understanding and emotional support to bring colour to our members’ lives.

Amateur gardener wanted!

We are looking for a volunteer to help do some gardening with a delightful middle-aged man who has suffered several strokes in the past few years. The volunteer will need to be his eyes to help him in the garden of a residential home near where he lives. The home will appreciate the garden being maintained and our member will love being outdoors with a volunteer, a win:win situation!
