Reading City of Sanctuary is a new charity in Reading with the aim of providing a culture of hospitality to those seeking sanctuary in Reading. We are mainly a grassroots organisation but are looking for support from key organisations in Reading such as RBC and Reading Police.
We will be attending a range of local events over the summer to help spread the word about our work.
We are seeking volunteers who can help:
- Be on the stall
- hand out leaflets
- talk to the public about what we do.
We will be attending:
- The Water Festival on June 11
- East Reading Festival on 19 June
- Caversham Festival on 9 /10 July
