We are looking for a volunteer to join the steering group of the Reading Sustainability Centre.
The aim of the centre will be to:
- Reduce energy use
- increase sustainability
- improve biodiversity and the environment
- stimulate business activities in these areas.
The person we are looking for will have a keen interest in sustainability, and be prepared to attend monthly meetings to discuss and move forward the vision to build a Sustainability Centre in Reading. There will be opportunities to take on a variety of tasks to work on between the monthly meetings.
We are currently looking into forming partnerships with other organisations in order to apply for monetary support from the European Structural Investment Fund. People with relevant skills will be particularly welcome.
