Different squads train Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday evenings during the school term time. Training is held in the sports hall from 8.00 – 9.30 pm for seniors and our junior section for girls aged 9-14 is held from 5.30 – 8.00 pm.
The netball season runs from September to May and the club fields nine teams playing the South Regional League, the Berkshire Premier League & the Bracknell and District Netball League at Brackenhale School. These matches are played on alternate Saturdays & Sundays between September and April. We also enter teams into the friendly summmer leagues, playing on Monday and Tuesday evenings respectively.

Team selections are held in June and July at training nights and using the summer leagues and pre-season in August ready for the new season. New players joining mid-season are given the opportunity to trial for teams and good club players are usually part of a squad before the end of that season. For those interested in umpiring & coaching, there is plenty of opportunity for training and practice; we have many club members qualified at various levels. Woodley Netball Club always supports any players wishing to further their own development in either umpiring or coaching and will subsidise any courses attended.
