The National Youth Advocacy Service (NYAS) provides information, advice, advocacy and legal representation to children, young people and vulnerable adults through a network of dedicated paid workers and volunteers throughout England and Wales.

NYAS provides a safety net for children, young people and vulnerable adults, who have nowhere else to turn. NYAS works within communities across the UK, with children, young people, adults, carer, local authorities and professionals such as social workers and lawyers.

NYAS is a leading rights-based charity who provide advocacy and legal representation to children and vulnerable adults when important decisions are being made about them. Since 1979, we have been delivering services to support and empower vulnerable children and adults. We provide befriending Independent visitor services as well as independent advocacy for young people.
