Help support young people to be their best selves
Learning support / Mentoring volunteers needed for Yes Futures
We are looking for volunteers to train as a Yes Futures Coach to support youth aged 11-16 in secondary schools across Slough, Surrey and Reading to develop key skills like confidence, resilience, self-awareness and communication and personal wellbeing.
Volunteers will be required for five to ten full school days of coaching and mentoring across six months. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a huge difference to a young person’s life. Yes Futures have been operating for six years and worked with over 1500 young people.
This is perfect for anyone who is a good listener and able to motivate and communicate with young people to support them to be their best selves.
