Sport in Mind needs YOU!
Do you want to give back to your local community and help support children, young people and families with mental health challenges become more active to support their recovery and well-being?
We have multiple activities starting and we need volunteers to get involved. We would like our volunteers to be caring, understanding, patient, nurturing and invested in promoting a positive experience for participants.
- After school sport and activity sessions 4pm-6pm various locations
- Family sport and activity days – ad-hock on weekends
- Sport and Mental Health workshops for schools and youth community groups – ad-hoc
- Summer holiday, sport and physical activities Mon-Fri 10am-3pm – August
You do not need to be great at sport, but a passion for advocating the benefits of being active is super important!
Training, mentorship, and support given to all volunteers. All places are subject to meeting our safeguarding and health and safety policies and procedures.
