The Real Business Club (TRBC) was set up in 2009 by three business women, Dawn Edwards, Kate Lole and Isabel King, all based in the Thames Valley, to fulfil the need for high quality business advice from real people running real businesses. At TRBC the goal is to provide the appropriate level of advice in the most accessible format to anyone wishing to explore and start in business. TRBC has developed an innovative and inspiring range of services to accommodate the wide range of people coming to our events and training sessions.

Where possible we also work in a collaborative way with other local businesses, organisations, educational establishments, charities, local authorities, support groups, housing authorities and individuals to provide a practical and supportive environment for our clients. TRBC also goes into businesses of all sizes and local authorities to provide bespoke training on “starting up in business” (eg for companies making people redundant).  It has also developed a project model to work in neighbourhoods deemed “hard to reach” or “deprived” to raise awareness of starting in business and support individuals to do this through workshops and mentoring.

Our specialisms are Tax and Finance, Strategy and Innovation, Branding and Marketing.  These are combined with experienced training skills.
