Yaws is an incredibly painful disease that mostly affects children under the age of 15. If not treated, it destroys the bones in the face causing horrific facial disfiguration.

We also run local science centres the purpose of which is to provide people the skills to understand the world around them as there is growing concern over the lack of scientific literacy causing people to harm themselves or others.

There is a strong need in Reading to counter fake news and false information being spread on social media and other platforms.
