One of our aims is simply to bring together people of Swahili origin, speakers and anyone else who with an interest in Swahili speaking, who live in Berkshire, especially Reading.

We provide social, moral support and act as point of contact to Swahili speaking minorities who live around Berkshire and to work in partnership with the local authority towards improving quality of life and social integrations among the community by engaging and participating in activities to improve the community awareness, cohesion and integration.

We inspire and guide the younger generation by engaging ourselves into activities that will enhance our sense of purpose, encourage the importance of understanding the core values of our Swahili language and culture hence leading into positive contribution to the community, as well as creating a safe neighbourhood and community as a whole.
