Having a child with special educational needs (SEN) can be complex and confusing.  Formerly called the Parent Partnership, our service provides information, support and advice for parents/carers of children with special educational needs. The service is free, confidential and impartial.

We can help by:

  • Explaining the legal process around support for children with SEN
  • Helping with the application process for an Education Health and Care Plan, including help with paperwork
  • Helping the parent/carer to communicate effectively with nursery, school or college on issues relating to SEN
  • Supporting parents/carers in meetings with school
