We provide help for carers by way of powered mobility equipment for their patients. We provide the equipment so that they do not need to push cumbersome manual wheelchairs which can cause injury and permanent skeletal damage to carers. We provide the equipment to people who are not eligible for statutory help and cannot afford to purchase the equipment for themselves. We assess each client to ensure that we provide the most suitable piece of equipment for them and then fund raise for each piece of equipment. We need funds to prime appeals to reduce the amount that we need to raise and hence shorten the time taken to raise it. We are a national charity, but we use donations from the Berkshire area locally.
