Me2 Club enables children and young people, aged 5-19, with additional needs and disabilities to take part in mainstream leisure activities like Scouts, sports, art, drama, kayaking and lots more!
Me2 Club recruits and trains volunteers who are matched with the children and young people. Volunteers work 1:1 with their matched child for a few hours each week, supporting them to join in, make friends and have fun alongside other children in their chosen activity.
Volunteering with Me2 Club is a great opportunity to get involved in something fun, while making a huge difference to the life of a young person and their family. No experience is necessary as full training is provided – it’s a great way to develop your skills and do something a bit different!
Volunteer induction training takes place throughout the year and covers topics such as autism, positive behaviour support, safeguarding etc.
Me2 Club supports children into any mainstream activity of their choice on weekdays all uniformed groups, sports clubs and lessons, dance drama and creative arts groups, and play environments.
