Hexham Community Association a registered charity (no. 1174946) brings together residents from the Hexham Estate and North Whitley area, charities, and the local authority to work together to help to improve education and employment opportunities, carry out activities for the welfare, recreation and pleasure of the people who live in the local area. The local area is recognised as an area of deprivation and need.
The Association provide adult training for employment, facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants;
