The Friends of Reading Museum (FoRM) exist to create a better awareness of Reading Museum and to promote the importance of the museum collections to the community

FoRM raises funds for museum activities that support its work with the public, such as exhibitions and conservation projects and the re-display of the museum’s collections. FoRM organises a continuous programme of talks bu experts and has a varied social calendar throughout the year. We have a regular monthly coffee morning and parties in the Summer and at Christmas. FoRM also has a bi-monthly book group.

Members receive invitations to private views at the Museum as well as behind-the-scenes tours. Trips are organised with links to the museum collections, exhibitions or books discussed by the book group. Friends are entitled to a 10% discount on purchases at the museum shop and cafe and receive a six-monthly newsletter
