Explore is a relationships education charity, set up in 2000, which delivers sessions in schools for years 9-13 that help young people discuss, evaluate and explore the life skills needed for long-term, healthy relationships. By exploring the meaning and significance of long-term relationships, marriage and the importance of the family unit, we help young people adjust any pre-conceived ideas to create aspirations about their future relationships.
Marriage is used as a case study for a long term committed relationship since it is easily definable and is considered a key building block in our society. Our young people are prepared and supported to draw conclusions from these dialogues as to the moral components and life skills that produce enduring and healthy relationships, family life and marriage in today’s society.
