Citizens Advice Berkshire has been formed by the 5 Berkshire bureaux coming together. We strengthen the advice services available by extending the kinds of services we offer, widening the range of client groups we reach and increasing the number of people we help. We achieve this by working more effectively together and securing finance and contracts that would not be available to individual bureaux.
Together we have expertise in all areas of advice giving and preventive work including:

• debt
• welfare benefits
• housing
• employment
• consumer
• immigration.

There is clear evidence that our work has a positive effect on our clients’ physical and mental well-being, thus reducing dependency on other hard-pressed services. Our service is quality assured through Citizens Advice, the national organisation.
As a consortium we also partner other organisations, both statutory and voluntary.
