Chissock Woodcraft is a social enterprise (Community Interest Company). Our principal aim is to provide training and a safe supported working environment for those in recovery from drug and alcohol abuse by giving a stepping stone back into society. Our activities are:
Furniture restoration and repair
Bespoke furniture making
Upholstery
Wood recycling and the production of briquettes and kindling wood from waste timber.
We work with Oxford and Cherwell College to provide NVQ qualifications up to level 2.
We aim to develop and widen our current activities on site with a view to developing other trades and skills and thus to provide further opportunities and training for our beneficiaries.
