Wishgranter – closing date 5 July 2019

Make-A-Wish® UK grants magical wishes to enrich the lives of children and young people with critical illnesses. As a Wishgranter, you’ll plan and organise a variety of wishes. Experience of the travel industry and excellent organisation and prioritising skills are crucial as you’ll be responsible for 60 to 70 wishes at a time, some of which need to be organised at short notice.

The role includes planning and delivering most aspects of the wish, working with our travel partners, arranging domestic and European travel, medical equipment hire, keeping records accurate, producing and adhering to budgets, creating itineraries and ensuring wish children receive the experience they deserve.

Working as part of a team, including volunteers, is crucial. You’ll have daily contact with wish families and need the self-confidence to be able to deal calmly and professionally with families who are often in challenging and emotional situations.
