Alana House is a flagship community project, run by PACT, that uses a holistic approach to support and empower women. We offer a confidential, women-only, non-judgemental space and welcome all women who feel they need help and support.
Initially established to support women who had committed offences but were often victims of trauma themselves, Alana House has developed over the years to support all women with multiple or complex needs who are looking for support to help make positive life changes.
We are seeking a qualified and experienced self-employed Counselling Supervisor to provide Clinical Supervision to our qualified and trainee Counsellors. You should be a BACP Registered Counsellor or UKCP Registered Counsellor/Psychotherapist with experience of providing individual and/or group supervision and will hold your own Professional Indemnity Insurance. Ideally, you will also hold a qualification in supervision.
The time commitment would be approximately 2.5 hours per fortnight for group supervision with our 3 qualified/trainee counsellors. This includes telephone/email support between supervisions. You would also be required to attend progress meetings with the Alana House Women’s Centre Manager and other relevant PACT employees, held every 3 months (approx. 1.5 hours each). All supervision and meetings take place virtually.
