Project Support Officer – closing date 28 July 2023

Green Health Thames Valley (GHTV) is a small Reading-based charity that provides horticulture therapy for people who need support with their mental health. We are currently looking to take on a self-employed Project Support Officer to assist our small team in delivering our programme that meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9.00 am – 4.00 pm.

As our Project Support Officer, you will be the initial point of contact for our charity, providing assistance with the recruitment and the co-ordination of our clients and volunteers, as well as administrative, marketing and event activities. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be a reliable, friendly and committed team player with excellent organisational, IT and interpersonal skills. You will also have a good level of maths and English skills

Whilst we don’t expect you to have prior experience of working in a mental health setting, you would need to be empathetic to the various mental health challenges our clients face.

The role will be based at our gardens in Whitley, however, hybrid working may be possible. This is a self-employed opportunity, with a salary of £15.00 per hour, 10 – 12 hours a week.
