You will lead on media, PR and communications, ensuring our work, impact and values are clearly, sensitively and powerfully represented across all channels.
You will help us move from being known locally to being recognised, trusted and understood, while always centering survivor voice and safety.
This role is responsible for growing sustainable, values-led income for Berkshire Women’s Aid. You will develop and deliver fundraising activity that balances community warmth with strategic ambition — ensuring we can continue and expand our support to survivors.
The ideal candidate will have a strong judgment and confidence in handling sensitive issues with an understanding of safeguarding, confidentiality and ethical storytelling. Proven experience in communications, media or PR and experience in pitching to and working with the media is also required for this role. We are looking for candidates who will be organised, proactive and comfortable with managing multiple priorities with experience in fundraising either from a paid or voluntary previous role.
