Casual Health and Wellbeing Instructors – closing date 14 March 2022

We want to expand our team of self-employed, qualified, passionate health and wellbeing instructors that can support the delivery of our Ever Active programme which covers Reading and West Berkshire.

This programme targets older adults and adults with a disability and aims to build social connections and reduce isolation through community based physical activity sessions.

Given the nature of our target audience we are particularly interested in individuals that have a qualification in L3 Older Adults Qualification and/or falls prevention (such as Otago, FaME or PSI) but welcome applications from those with other qualifications such as Pilates, Yoga, Tai Chi (or similar). Instructors must have their own Public Liability insurance and be willing to do a small amount of admin as part of the role.

If you would like to work in partnership with our charity and want to make a difference to your local community please get in touch. Successful applicants will need their own transport to get to/from sessions. In return we offer:

  • Access to CPD courses/workshops with a discount
  • Access to some GBA led training (including Motivational Interviewing) for free
  • Flexible working
  • Introductions to partner organisations where appropriate
  • You remain self-employed and protect your tax benefits
