Activities and Volunteers Coordinator – closing date 16 January 2024

Our Vision is ‘Inclusion for All’ children and young people with additional needs and disabilities. Me2 Club matches children who have additional needs or disabilities with committed and passionate volunteers to help them attend and take part in mainstream leisure activities. We tackle the impact of exclusion and social isolation experienced by children and young people and help build their confidence, self-esteem and independence.

As an Activities and Volunteers Coordinator you’ll support a caseload of children, taking time to get to know them and their families and understanding their support needs and interests. You’ll play a crucial role in carefully matching children to volunteer buddies, helping to build strong and nurturing relationships. You’ll work as part of a team to recruit, train and provide ongoing support to our volunteers.

Experience:

  • Have experience supporting children with additional needs and disabilities
  • Be able to quickly build trusting and meaningful relationships with children and their families
  • Be innovative and creative in adapting how you work to meet children needs
