This meeting aims to bring together community partners from the voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise sector to build a formal alliance of organisations working towards health and care outcomes.
The event will inform and develop the framework of how we collaborate as VCSE organisations strategically at a regional level, and how we integrate and embed VCSE representation in the Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire Integrated Care System (BOB ICS). We will hear about the latest developments within BOB ICS and how the VCSE Health Partnership Project has developed.
We will establish:
- What membership of the VCSE Alliance means?
- Which topic areas / priorities we wish to develop as sub groups to the Alliance
- What representation within the BOB ICS will look like?
Who this event is for?
- Representatives from voluntary and community groups
- Representatives from faith groups
- Representatives from social enterprises
This is your opportunity to participate in shaping the future of the regional VCSE and health partnership structures.
The VSCE sector plays an important and integral part in delivering health and social care services within our communities. Recognising their crucial role, NHS England is encouraging Integrated Care Systems (ICS) to work closely with the VSCE sector to ensure that key delivery organisations are part of the transformation of the NHS as outlined in the NHS Long-Term Plan.
The VCSE sector development agencies in our region are now formally working in partnership with Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire West (BOB) Integrated Care System (ICS) under the banner NHS VCSE Leadership Programme.
The project will help improve ways of working together, and enable VCSE organisations to be key partners in the transformation of the NHS in the region as well as be key deliverers of services and activities across health and care systems. As part of this project we are developing two-way communication and collaboration mechanisms between the ICS and VCSE sector. This is being carried out through the create of a regional alliance and will help enable better coordination and communication within the VCSE sector.
