**POSTPONED**Safeguarding bite-size session: what to do if you suspect financial abuse

Tuesday 31 March 2020

This session will provide information regarding the roles of responsibilities of agencies if financial abuse is suspected and how support can be accessed.

This event is free to attend and open to everyone whose service works in a public facing role across Reading, Wokingham or West Berkshire. The session will start with presentations from the Local Authority, Thames Valley Police, Office of Public Guardian (OPG) and Trading Standards. There will be an opportunity for questions as well as a 30 minute surgery were you can ask the presenters for specific advice around financial abuse.

It is an opportunity to gain information about current initiatives and to network to share good practice and discuss concerns. Attending  contributes to your continuous professional development as evidence of multi-agency learning.

You do not need to book a place, please just come along on the day.
