Safeguarding Adults bite-size learning: the role of a Lasting Power of Attorney

The West of Berkshire Safeguarding Adults Board Partnership is hosting a free bite-sized online workshop, open to all sectors across Reading, West Berkshire and Wokingham, including those working or volunteering within the voluntary and community sector.

The presentation will include multiple speakers and will cover:

  • What is an LPA
  • What are the decision-making powers of an LPA
  • When might advocacy be appropriate when an LPA is in place
  • How to approach difficult conversations with an LPA
  • How to address concerns regarding an LPA

The presentation will be followed by a discussion.
