At Community Place we have a conference room, and a variety of meeting rooms available for hire. To submit a booking enquiry, please complete this form and we will get in touch to discuss availability and requirements.
Large Conference Room – £25 per hour
This can accommodate up to 30 people seated in theatre style or 18 boardroom style. The room has a projector and a small PA can be provided on request. The room is ideal for small to medium sized training sessions, meetings and presentations.
Medium meeting rooms – £15 per hour
We have a range of medium sized rooms available either for meetings of up to 12 people or offering a blended mix of workstations and private meeting space.
Small meeting rooms – £10 per hour
We have several small rooms, capacity 3 people, that would be suitable for 1:1 meetings or as private working space
Hire times and access
Subject to availability, our rooms are available for hire during the following times:
- Tuesdays and Thursdays: 9.30am – 5pm
- Wednesdays: 9.30am to 4.30pm
Please note that there is restricted public access to the building prior to 10am Tues / Thurs and all day Wed. Details for access will be provided upon booking.
There is no on-site parking available, the nearest public parking is the Queens Road Car Park, 5 minutes walk away. Access for loading / unloading may be available subject to prior arrangement.

- Free wi-fi is available throughout Community Place.
- Flipboards and marker pens available on request
- By prior arrangement we can provide:
Refreshments – Tea, coffee, squash, fruit and biscuits @ £2 per person
Lunch and refreshments – As above, plus a selection of sandwiches / salads, crisps and chocolate bars @ £8 per person - Hire of PA system, £5
