Alana House continues to support all our regular service users remotely during this Covid-19 season, having suspended face-to-face individual work, outreach and group sessions for the time being. Alana House supports women with complex needs and we recognise this time is difficult for many where needs may be aggravated. We are also encouraged though how many women are drawing on positive coping skills and strategies they have developed.
Our team of support workers are available and continuing to provide one-to-one support over the phone or zoom, updates via social media and email, virtual drop in sessions, online group activities etc.
We are continuing to work with our partners and are able to support service users to access appointments for housing advice with RBC, support from CGL, advice from CommuniCare and practical support through various agencies.
We remain open to referrals and will review them all and contact those involved to explain support we can offer or support them to access other services that may be more appropriate.
