We are delighted to confirm that we will be hosting a Volunteer Fair at Reading Biscuit Factory on Saturday, June 14.

Coming hot on the heels of Volunteers’ Week, the fair will be an opportunity to engage with members of the public looking for opportunities to get involved. It will also provide the chance to showcase the work your organisation does and the impact volunteering is having on our town.

We expect demand for spaces to be high, and places will be limited to organisations that meet the following criteria:

• A not-for-profit organisation providing services to the people of Reading.
• Actively seeking volunteers and have roles posted on the Reading Volunteer Connect Platform. We can help you get started with this.
• Have a Volunteer Policy and can confirm you have appropriate volunteer insurance in place. Again, we can provide advice on this.
• Able to commit to being in attendance for the full event – 10 am-4:30 pm, including set-up and packdown.
• Willing to support with the promotion ahead of the event, via websites, social media and current volunteer interviews.

We want to have as many organisations represented at the fair as possible, but space is limited. We will, therefore, be encouraging the sharing of stalls between organisations. This will be reflected in the cost:

Half Stalls: £15 per organisation 

Full Stalls: £40 per organisation

To register to attend, please complete the form by Monday, 7 April. We will then confirm your place. Please note that we may close registration early if oversubscribed, so please register as soon as possible.
