Project Linus – handmade quilts to comfort children and teenagers

Do you know of a child, or teenager up to the age of 19, who might benefit from the security and comfort of a handmade quilt during this difficult time?

Project Linus Berkshire distribute new, homemade, washable quilts, lovingly made by volunteers. The aim is to provide a sense of love, security, warmth and comfort to babies, children and teenagers who are sick, have a disability, are disadvantaged or distressed.

You can download a leaflet with more information about the project, including information about making and donating quilts. There are some more photos of the beautiful, colourful quilts below.

Project Linus Berkshire is still arranging delivery/drop-off of quilts, and is keen to help bring a bit of love and comfort to struggling families at this time. If your organisation would like to receive a quilt or quilts to pass on to children or teenagers in need, then please get in touch with the area coordinator Lillian King by emailing
