This year’s Pride of Reading Awards will highlight those who make or have made an impact within our local community

Over the past 20 years there have been thousands of nominations and hundreds of Pride of Reading Award winners, for initiatives that make our town so great to live and work in.

Help them this year in celebrating 20 years of community spirit, resilience and amazing achievements. From acts of kindness to ground-breaking projects, from inspiring heroism to the sterling efforts of volunteers, together they have helped build a legacy of compassion and progress. Whether someone was born here, is a long-time resident, or new to our town, they are all part of what makes Reading special.

The closing date for nominations is Monday 22 July 2024. Nominees’ stories will be showcased on social media and in Reading Today over the next few months. Winners are revealed at the award’s lunch in October.
