One Reading partnership – delivery model agreed
Thanks to everyone who attended the second meeting of the One Reading Partnership Board, which took place on 25 April 2019. Partners committed to work in partnership to deliver better outcomes for young people and families, developing a local consensus on how they will work together. Partners agreed a number of principles to underpin their work together and the delivery model outlined above. The next meeting will take place in July.
One Reading leads the way on big data
On 8 May, the ‘ReadingModel’ Data Group met at Microsoft Reading. The ‘ReadingModel’ is a workstream in One Reading. With the support of Cambridge University, it will promote the use of predictive analytics to improve outcomes for children young people and families and ensure data informs service delivery via more effective and informed commissioning. The group is chaired by Stan Gilmour, Superintendent of Reading Police, with representation from data leads across children’s services, health and police, as well as national data leads from Public Health and the Ministry of Justice.
