The Rebel Business School have partnered with Reading UK CIC and other Berkshire councils to offer a free live online course that helps people from all backgrounds and situations to become equipped with the tools and skillset to transform their business ideas into sales without intimidating business plans or risky start-up loans.
People like Alex Stevenson who wanted to set up her own cake business but didn’t have the confidence to take her idea further and felt the competition was too high for her to succeed. After attending the course in Reading in 2018, she immediately felt the impact of what she’d learned, saying of her experience:

Nearly four years down the line, Alex’s Cake Creations is going from strength to strength.
The practical and interactive course runs from 7–18 February between 10am–3pm daily (Monday–Friday) and covers all of the topics needed to start a business, including sales, finances and marketing.
For those who feel stuck or have a business idea that they are not sure will work, the course is a great move towards their first sale, building their confidence and getting their business idea off the ground in a debt-free way.
