We have seen during the pandemic, and more recently through the example of the data breach at the National Lottery Community Fund, that organisations are becoming increasingly more susceptible to cyber fraud, including the voluntary and community sector.

If you would like to brush up on your cyber security skills and feel confident that you have safe measures in place to prevent cyber fraud, take a look at this free elearning from the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), which has been specifically designed for small organisations. This is an easy way of offering training to existing staff, volunteers and trustees that they can access for free at any time.

The elearning covers the following sections:

  1. Backing up your organisation’s data
  2. Protecting against malware
  3. Creating strong passwords
  4. Keeping your devices secure
  5. Defending against phishing
