A level 2 cold weather alert was issued on Tuesday which lasts until 09:00 on Thursday 10 Dec in the South East. This means that temperatures are likely to drop to levels that increase the risk of ill health among vulnerable adults, particularly older people, those with long term conditions and those living in cold homes.
