Keen to connect with the natural world whilst learning more about hemp and CBD crafting?

Gardening / Outdoor work volunteers needed for Hempen Cooperative in RG8

Hempen Co-operative is a group of motivated and inspired folk dedicated to creating hemp products for the benefit of people, the community, and the planet. On our farm on the Hardwick Estate, 4 miles outside of Reading, we’ve been growing organic hemp since 2015, though sadly we’re not currently growing. Our busy farm community is a hub of activity, there are projects of all shapes and sizes for you to get involved with.

We are seeking volunteers who are keen to connect with the natural world and help us grow vegetables and increase biodiversity through our polytunnel projects and cottage garden. We work with hemp, so there are also lots of possibilities to learn more broadly about the hemp enterprise and possible opportunities to support the CBD crafting and administrative support functions

It’s also worth keeping in mind that we also like to centre community in our work, so each day we check-in together, and eat lunch as a group.

We believe in living in harmony with the land and creating sustainable rural livelihoods and are blessed to exist as a growing community of beautiful people working together towards our shared vision. If you’re curious to know more about what we do and how you could get involved, we’d love to hear from you.
