Assist sight impaired visitors attending our information day – 21/4/20
Support volunteers needed for Retina UK in RG1
Our Information Days feature research updates, information about vision technologies, presentations from local sight loss charities, question and answer sessions and they offer a chance to meet members of the Retina UK community.
We are expecting approximately 70 people, many of whom are visually impaired. A lot of people will bring a sighted guest with them but others will travel alone or with their guide dog and need some assistance with guiding and getting drinks, serving lunch, being shown where the dogs can spend, that type of thing.
Lunch will be provided.
