With the Covid-19 pandemic having made it more difficult for charities and community groups to raise funds, the John Sykes Foundation  have created a Covid-19 Relief Fund. Qualifying local organisations can now apply to receive a special grant through 2021 and early 2022. A total of £50,000 has been allocated to this fund, with there being no set limit on each grant amount, however to help as many organisations as possible, they envisage each grant being £1,000, albeit this can be more or less.

The application form needs to be completed in full and submitted by the deadline of 30th April 2022. Please note they are allocating £1,000 per week from 2nd June 2021, so the earlier your application is received, the higher the chance of success.
