As a parish Christian church community (Church of England) we seek to serve and meet the needs of young people in Reading. Our vision is ‘Living to see young people come to faith and create new forms of church with them’. This means we spend a lot of our time in schools, running after school clubs and youth clubs, taking young people away on weekends and enabling them to participate in activities during the school holidays.
We also seek to see young people come to a place of personal faith within the context of the local church. In all we do as a worshipping community we want to serve the needs of, and build relationships with, young people. This means that not only do we have Sunday services where adults and young people come together to worship God, we also undertake a variety of activities during the week seeking to challenge young people and adults alike to more of God’s kingdom in Reading and UK wide.
