Would you like to get involved in one of Reading’s biggest annual projects and put smiles on hundreds of children’s faces at Christmas?
Each year we organise the huge ‘Toys & Teens’ Appeal in Reading. Thousands of toys are donated by members of the public and are distributed to disadvantaged families in the Reading area in time for Christmas.
The families are referred to us via Social Services, Health Visitors, Schools, Churches and other charities – we call these the Requestors.
We are looking for one or two people to help with the management of the referrals from the Requestors.
- establishing this year’s Requestor List
- emailing forms for them to complete
- validating the returned forms to ensure they are complete, accurate and understandable and dealing with any errors and missing information using our computer system
- chasing up forms from those that have not returned them
