Trustee / Committee volunteers needed for Home-Start Reading in RG30
Use your communication, business or fundraising skills to be an effective Trustee of Home-Start Reading.
Help us to support vulnerable young families cope with a whole range of health and social problems so that their children get a better start in life.
We are looking for two trustees to join our Board, both energetic and willing to spend a few hours a week ensuring publicity for the charity’s work locally, building and maintaining a network of supportive businesses and individuals to help fund this important work.
We are a small, award-winning, charity, active in Reading for 34 years, with strong governance, safeguarding, diversity and equality policies. We are solvent but face an increasingly difficult funding environment, hence our need for your particular skills!
