We are currently recruiting volunteers to assist with the Our Country Lives project evaluation. The role will work with our Audience Development team and our external evaluation consultants to better understand the profile of our visitors since our transformative redevelopment project, Our Country Lives, and how they are responding to the newly displayed galleries.
Tasks will include:
- Being involved in the capturing of visitor data with our Evaluation Consultants (this could be through questionnaires, visitor observation, focus groups etc)
- Inputting visitor data onto our Artifax booking system or onto Excel documents
What will you gain in return?
This is an opportunity to play an active role in helping us better understand our visitors since the museum’s redevelopment. As volunteers, you will receive full training.
As well as interaction with visitors, the project will also involve computer, data entry work and develop administration and reporting skills.
Hours: Flexible. A start up training workshop will be taking place on Friday, 6th October (1.30 pm – 3.30 pm) at MERL.
Requirements: Enthusiasm, good interpersonal skills and an interest in learning about MERL’s visitors
