Trustee / Committee volunteers needed for No5 Youth Counselling and Information Service
No5 has been supporting children and young people in Reading and the surrounding area since 1971. We are a community- based organisation with all counselling sessions provided by fully trained volunteer counsellors. Our volunteers come from all walks of life and backgrounds but all share a commitment to supporting children and young people.
We are seeking new volunteers to join our trustee board. Trustees work alongside a small group of staff in guiding the charity, ensuring its continuing good governance and effective practice.
We a particularly keen to hear from potential trustees who would also be interested in:
- Assisting our Fundraising Officer with organising fundraising events
- publicising No5 Young People’s work locally
- undertaking basic research to feed into our funding applications.
