Join the board of the charity raising money for Royal Berkshire Hospital

Trustee / Committee volunteers needed for League of Friends of the Royal Berkshire Hospital in RG1

The League of Friends of Reading Hospitals a charity within the Royal Berkshire Hospital celebrated its 60th years anniversary last year and has raised thousands of pounds. It has the pleasant task each year of distributing funds to provide facilities for the benefit of patients, visitors and staff at the Royal Berkshire Hospital.

The League is run by a committee of Trustees who meet every 2 months to discuss the general running of the League and to make decisions on Hospital Giving Projects. The role is fully participative and contributing to the Leagues events and retail outlets. If you have experience in management, fundraising and an interest in health and helping patients at the Royal Berkshire Hospital we would love to hear from you. Training for a Trustee role will be provided. The League has a new coffee shop, retail shop and runs the hospital trolleys, each year fundraising events are organised.

We wish to recruit new Trustees to join the committee. We are particularly looking for a Minute Secretary but would like any applicant to play an active role in the running of the Charity.
