Administration volunteers needed for Reading International Solidarity Centre (RISC) in RG1
Reading International Solidarity Centre (RISC) is a Development Education Centre close to the heart of Reading’s town centre. We work with schools and community groups to raise the profile of global issues and promote action for sustainability, human rights and social justice.
We are seeking a volunteer to join our office team. The main duties are answering the telephone, dealing with customer enquiries, directing calls or taking messages. The role will also involve supporting RISC workers with data entry, research, photocopying, laminating, book-binding & mail-outs and other general office duties.
A friendly helpful manner is essential to this role. Some computer work will be required so confidence with using computers will be needed as will good English language skill and attention to detail.
