Help us keep our finances in good order!

Trustee / Committee volunteers needed for Oxford Road Timebank

Do you love West Reading?

Do you want to help make your community better?

Oxford Road Timebank is looking for new Treasurer to join our committee and provide financial oversight to the organisation to help shape our future.

Oxford Road Timebank is a local community organisation that aims to bring people together
and make the West Reading community stronger. Our activities are led by participants,
supported by us. Some of our planned activities include helping local residents to organise community events such as Play Streets, Street parties, Art exhibitions, Shared interest groups and Fitness classes.

The duties of our Treasurer will include:

  • Working collaboratively to construct project budgets.
  • Cheque signing.
  • Keeping the books up to date.
  • Compiling the Year-end/treasurers report.
  • Contributing to strategic decision making and oversight alongside fellow committee members.

Alongside the necessary financial skills, we are seeking a Treasurer who is committed to seeing the Timebank flourish and is able to dedicate the time and energy to make that happen. The ability to work collaboratively as part of a group whilst maintaining independence of mind and good judgement are also essential.
