Help this lady to get out and about
Befriending / Visiting volunteer needed for Royal Mencap Society (Mencap)
We support a lady with a learning disability in Tilehurst. She is in her 60s and is looking for a volunteer visitor to spend time with her 6 times per year.
She loves getting out for a meal, having her nails and hair done, or staying in with some arts & crafts and having a singalong. She is looking for a female visitor to enjoy some of these activities with.
Visits can take place at the house she shares with her housemate, or you could get out and about for a drive, a walk or a meal.
The Mencap Visiting Service supports older people with a learning disability after their parents have passed away. By spending time with this lady you can support her to socialise, get out and have fun.
