Resolve is a small charity providing mediation across Berkshire and Oxfordshire, offering a range of services including mediation between neighbours, young people and families, and in the workplace.
We are partly funded through our work with local authorities, housing associations and other bodies, and fundraising is required to support our project work, such as our schools’ programmes dealing with cyberbullying and to cover operational costs.
The purpose of this volunteering role is to develop strong and effective fundraising proposals in order for Resolve to meet its strategic aims.
The funding volunteer will work with the trustees and staff at Resolve to establish funding needs and research possible funding avenues such as Trusts and Foundations, Corporate Giving, Community and Individual fundraising.
The post holder will be able to present clearly and effectively in both written and spoken communications and be confident in pitching to potential funders. They will have good interpersonal skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office programmes and the internet.
