Berkshire Credit Union are a traditional community credit union, offering ethical savings and affordable loans to our members. We are the local alternative to high street banks, internet, doorstep and payday loan lenders.
We are seeking volunteers to join our team based at our head office to perform general administration duties and tasks.
Tasks undertaken by our administration volunteers may include:
- Electronic scanning, indexing and uploading of documents.
- Secure shredding of paperwork no longer needed.
- Review of dormant/closed accounts and filing of documentation to be retained.
- Managing of our archives.
- Various ad hoc tasks
The ideal volunteer for this role will need basic IT literacy and the ability to learn new systems. Strong attention to detail, an awareness of Data Protection and high level of accuracy will also be essential as is a helpful disposition and willingness to “get stuck in”.
